There are so many different and fantastic activities to get into here in the falls. There are of course many companies that provide these tours and activities, except a few which are run by one company, such as walking with lions, riding elephants or Kariba tours. It is your choice, every company in this guide was included due to their safety and professional services rendered, so no matter which company you go with they all provide fantastic equipment and staff. The only difference might be in prices or who your friends are using.

Lake Kariba Tours

Victoria Falls National Park

Victoria Falls National Park is a World Heritage Site protecting the Victoria Falls. It is also a stretch of land which is protecting the shore of the Zambezi upstream where one can also drive into the park and take pleasure in a relaxing day of game viewing, fishing and even enjoy a picnic or braai (barbeque) by the Zambezi. Game drives are offered by various companies see activity providers for the falls.

Elephant Experience

Getting the opportunity to ride elephants in the National Park which allows one to get closer to animals than usual and experience the bush in a unique way.

White Water Rafting

This is one of the best possible activities you can do, the rafting in this part of the world is considered to be in the top 3 locations in the world, a pure grade 5 river rafting experience.  Closed due to high water levels from March to May normally.

Bungi Jumping

The famous 116 meter drop is a thrill seekers dream, the jumps are conducted off the Bridge between Zimbabwe ad Zambia.

Gorge Swings

The gorge swing is operated by a few different companies and at different locations on both sides of the border. Some say better than Bungi others say nay. Either way it’s a kicker.

Guided Fishing Trips

This activity is done above The Falls and it is the thrill of catching the Tiger fish which is a well known fighting fish, probably the best in any fresh water system.

Boat Cruises

There are few things better than cruising the Mighty Zambezi River. Many options available here but essentially its a sunset booze cruise.

Canoe Safaris

Another classic in these parts, and once again done above The Falls. Two man canoes cruising along the shore of the Victoria Falls National Park, one of the best ways to view game and enjoy the peaceful African bush.

Flight of Angels

The name given to this activity comes from Livingstone himself when he first gazed upon the mighty falls. Take a flight over the falls in helicopters, micro lights, and small aircraft. There is no beating this perspective of The Falls.

Chobe Day Trips

The Chobe National Park is only 70km away from Vic Falls and many companies offer day trips there to witness the awesome elephant herds, and second to none game viewing experience.

Hwange National Park Trips

One of Zimbabwe’s premier National Parks is just over an hour’s drive away. With healthy populations of elephants, lions, and buffalo, this park is a real treat. There are also conservation efforts for the Black Rhino here .
