Lady May

The niece of Queen Victoria and an ascendant of one of the consortium of English Titled gentry, was the muse behind the commission of Lady May, the houseboat. Luxurious, created from pine wood paneling, reminiscent of a gracious lifestyle tinged with colourful prints - she is the Lady of the Lake, sleek, beautiful, spacious and comfortable.

Salon Prive’

Daydreams of gambling in a private saloon in days of yore, is the inspiration behind the Salon Prive. Opulent with a touch of decadence with emphasis on a relaxed lifestyle and gracious al fresco dining. Adorned with dark wood paneling and decorated in Afro-Modern expressions.

 

The Cabins

Guests are accommodated in four spacious air-conditioned cabins below deck, two of which are Double en-suite, one twin cabin en-suite and the fourth of which is a twin bunked cabin, has its own separate shower and toilette facility.

The Middle Deck

 The middle deck boasts both formal and al fresco dining areas together with an air conditioned salon equipped with Satellite Television, DVD/Video recorder and Compact Disk player with piped music to the top deck. The lounge is a tasteful combination of spaciousness and elegance and the large windows surrounding the salon provide a panoramic view of the lake. Sumptuous breakfasts, brunches and three course dinners are served at the dining venue of your choice. For the discerning wine drinker, selections of local and imported wines are available for your enjoyment with your meal.

The Upper Deck

 The upper deck enjoys an open expansive view of the lake and features a comfortable under cover lounge area with fully stocked glass fronted bar fridge, an open air Jacuzzi and loungers for sun-bathing. Snacks which may include nuggets of bream from the days catch are served on the upper deck at sundown to accompany your favoured beverage.

Tenders Boat

An 8 man raft and one four man speed boat, serve as tender boats, equipped with limited fishing tackle, with radio communications with the mother vessel are at your disposal, for fishing, game viewing or exploring the shoreline, petrified forests and islands of Kariba.

 220 volt 13amp with English type square 3 pin outlets.

Crew

 The 4 man crew is accommodated in separated quarters with its own entrance at the front of the vessel in order to ensure your comfort and privacy.
