Kangamani Tours is a tour operator that focuses on the Lake Kariba region in Zimbabwe. We offer tours of the Lake from Binga all the way to Kariba town on our specialized overland style raft. We also manage bookings for a number of houseboats in Binga, and we operate 10 day self drive tours across the entire length of the lake. Cruising the shoreline game viewing and fishing in some of Zimbabwe’s greatest National Parks is just one of the attractions of holidays in Zimbabwe. 
Lake Kariba
Lake Kariba is one of the world largest man-made lakes, and when it was completed it in fact was the largest. It lies on the Zambezi River which has its source in Northern Zambia, winding through Angola, Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique before it reaches the Indian Ocean. The Lake is only a small section of this massive river system and is bordered by just Zimbabwe and Zambia. 290 km long and 30 km wide at it’s widest so you can imagine the expanse of water. It is now a thriving ecosystem supporting thousands of species of birds, fish, and animals, as well as humans.
House-raft Tours Lake Kariba
This is Kangamani tours other unique offering! We have a raft which is designed to run tours of Lake Kariba with a difference, the raft does not have old school cabins for its passengers, it is an open style raft, with beds on the main deck and on the upper deck. The raft still has hot showers, kitchen, bar, toilets and electricity, but all this makes for a much more budget friendly trip. These trips can be for a minumum of 3 days or more, we also operate for 5 days, from Vic Falls to Kariba town, transfers back to the Vic Falls can be arranged, or to Harare, or even Lusaka in Zambia
Traditional Houseboat Tours
This is the traditional way to go on holiday on Lake Kariba. They have all the amenities of a regular house, hot water, kitchen, showers, bathrooms, and individual rooms, or cabins, possible air conditioning for the better ones. We do bookings for various houseboats on Lake Kariba; it all depends on the size of the group and your budget. Fishing Trips
One of our unique tours on offer at Kangamani is our self drive trips. The trip is aimed at enthusiasts of all things that make living in Africa great, fishing, game viewing, birding, relaxing, camping, and boating. The trips run with a maximum of 6 boats, 2 people per boat, so a group can only reach 12 people.
